The Catch

by Richard Willmott

"Night fishing from a beach has to be one of the most pointless exercises known to man. If you want fish, get it from Sainsbury's. Leave it to the professionals, they've got boats and nets and everything. That way you can get on with your life."

Gary's having marital difficulties and his friend, reluctantly, agrees to accompany him on a night-fishing trip to discuss his woes. But a surprise catch leads to a very strange encounter.
