From Bangs to Black Holesby Gordon RogersHaving been asked by Sir Patrick Moore to write a book in his Astronomy series, Gordon Felt contrained by the limitations of the title. He accordingly now offers this account of his life, which is not for the faint hearted. Starting with his wartime experiences when, aged twelve, he possessed a bren machine gun and unlimited amounts of gelignite, the story proceeds through his experiences as an artillery 'flash-spotter' to his business as a Chartered Surveyor, specialising in land development. Entwined in the tale are the ladies that tolerated him. Fascinated by the characters that can be met when travelling. He recites stories about those whom he found most interesting.
